Thanks to everyone who showed, unfortunately only by one vote, that "Ghostbusters" is still super awsome. Who wouldn't want, finances available, to dress up as a Ghostbuster for Halloween?



This time of the year family will go home for holidays like Thanksgiving. But this isn't necessarily a Fall or holiday specific contest. Just characters going home, or maybe going back to their homeland.

You know, thinks like Picard's shore leave to Earth visiting family. Maybe pictures of the homes. As long as it's from film and TV. And other ideas. Honestly not a lot springs to my mind at the moment, but I'm sure you folks have ideas.


If anybody can remember the entry rules, then abide by them; we just get a "standard rules apply" thing usually, but honestly with all hte new members, who remembers what they all are? Hell, I don't!

Sarah Jane Smith returns home to Earth after her travels with The Doctor are complete (from The Hand of Fear). Sure, technically he dropped her in the wrong place (he left her in Scotland, not anywhere near her actual home), but its Earth so I'd say its close enough

Because of the infine number of universes only a single one has a squeaking gate and no existing oil cans to fix it!

There was one episode early on where they tested the gate, found it didn't squeak, and since the timer was running on its last few seconds, they slid. Right after they left, Quinn's mother and the gardener came out and she thanked him for fixing the squeaky gate. It was left ambiguous as to whether or not that was their actual home universe.
