ENTER! Misc. Avatar Contest - Road Signs

Whenever I drive through Dartmoor National Park and I pass over the cattle grid which marks the start of the common grazing moorland I see this road sign, and it always makes me smile.

Believe me, those crusty old ewes who lie in the middle of the road have been there, done that, and don't move for anything or anyone.

So the theme this week is road signs, any kind of official sign that could be found along the side of a road or painted on the road itself, be it a motorway/highway or a little country lane. The usual rules apply; max size 150 x 150, nothing from television or movies, and so on. Have fun!

I can't decide between these two. :)

These past few years have seen a dramatic rise in "sign-hacking," and Texas has had some good ones--very similar to this:

^Thanks. They did one last winter around Dallas that said, "Oh my God. Is that snow? We're all going to die!" I wish I could find a good pic of that, because I thought it was hilarious.

Actual town in Missouri, about 70 miles south of St. Louis:

I've been through there, but that's not me.

Go to the planned retirement community of Sun City, AZ, and you don't see a lot of elderly people walking. It's probably one of the few towns where you can legally drive a golf cart on the road.

Can a road sign also refer to signs companies and businesses place by the road?

Let's stick to actual place names and traffic-type signs rather than business names. If the sign is put up by the highways agency then it's allowed, but not if a business has put it up themselves.

I'm having a good laugh at all your entries. It's already obvious that the voting is going to be difficult. :)
