No one thought of 'The Wind in the Willows'? Poor Mr Toad.

I did, but my favourite is the piper at the break of dawn and there's no picture of him.
Missed the deadline as I couldn't make up my mind. I love childrens books and have tons of them - making a choice is like asking a parent which of their children they loved most.

oooooooh! Thank you! He looks like an ex-BF of mine LOL.
I have only an old penguin edition which has very few illustrations. Had I known of that exhibition I might have gone to London to see it. I hope I get a chance one day to see that original.
