Didn't quite make it last night, but here we go: An obscure children's classic that I read (probably a dozen times) in 5th Grade.
The Wonderful Flight To The Mushroom Planet.
Has anybody else ever even heard of it?
I read it in second grade.
I'm a retiree... I have plenty of free time.
A Wrinkle in Time is also a great choice...
^^ Also one of my favorite books that I first read in 5th Grade. I specifically remember reading particular books in 5th Grade because that's when we started getting these little newsprint "catalogs" from the school that we could order books from, and those were the first two I got.

This is the best turnout we've had in a while. I guess we're all just kids at heart.

I did, but my favourite is the piper at the break of dawn and there's no picture of him.
Missed the deadline as I couldn't make up my mind. I love childrens books and have tons of them - making a choice is like asking a parent which of their children they loved most.
