Random Theme: Sinister - any person, event or thing that gives you a negative reaction akin to the feeling that you are being watched by a very disturbing powerful organization (and you are, but it is for your own good citizen!) or just creeps you out.

Episode: Gul Moogie asks how many lights you can see. Five, no?

DS9 Theme: It came out a bit blurry, but one of my favourite early Kira moments is her reaction to the death of Opaka, when we really get a sense of how important the things Opaka represents are to Kira, who due to the circumstances of her life hasn't been able to find them.

I guess I focused a little much on the "being watched by a very [...] powerful organization" rather than the sinister part, but oh well. No one can really argue that Google knows too much about us all.

Google's "Don't be evil" motto doesn't really have a basis in its actual actions...they've been caught in shady stuff.

Will there still be time to enter tomorrow evening? I'm going to want to field entries in two of the three categories. I won't be doing the random because unfortunately I imagine I would offend a lot of people with what I'd enter, so I won't.

Ummm... yes... Of course it will be...

l was pretty happy when the gov. or somesuch wanted the data Google had... and Google said no. Dunno what the deal was or what happened but some companies will give everyone's Pl to a mall cop. l personally don't believe that people have a right to my info just because l'm not doing anything wrong. Though l agree - there's a limit (l'd imagine) to the real world usefulness of the data they collect... so they should just not do it. Though Nerys - you're probably more up to date on that than me as the even l'm referring to was years ago. At the time it just made me happy. XD And FB is so terrible that for me it eclipses everything. LOL!

Edit - just caught that last line. l realize l'm super late for this contest but in the future l encourage you to express yourself. People have a right to do so and if people don't agree with you... what are they going to do? All caps you to death? You're not a particularly sinister person...

That's true... l sometimes forget in some places that l'm really on the lnternet as a whole. And some of those people are crazy!

l also respect your decision to not share some things too.
