OK, the new avatar contest is all about game characters who are up in the air - be it leaping through the air, soaring through the skies with or without an aircraft, or even falling with(out) style and failing to miss the ground.

Usual limits apply: max dimensions of 140x140 pixels, max file size of 140k, and I'll put the poll up on Saturday evening, thus giving you just under 4 and a half days for entries.
