Previously on the ENT avatar contests:

And so ends another contest! Not as many winners/runners-up this week, unfortunately, because someone decided to be greedy!

In our Episode contest, star took the prize with her loverly shot of Hoshi looking all pretty-like.

While HopefulRomantic finished a close second with her own beautiful avatar of our favorite communications officer.

Meanwhile, at the Legion of Doom--err, in the Theme contest--star completed the sweep with her amusing entry starring Archer the Snowman.

And JiNX-01 gave our winner a run for her money with this avatar depicting the first usage of the transporter in ENT. Archer got to try it out first, naturally.

The next episode is "Singularity."

And for theme, JiNX-01 has provided the following:

Everybody Plays: Entries should be either an iconic image that represents an episode in which the entire regular cast is used or an animated av featuring images of all seven cast members (I'll make myself available to handle the animation for anybody who needs an assist).

I would like to clarify that means gleaning from only ENT episodes.

So... I propose the theme Everybody Plays: Entries should be either an iconic image that represents an episode in which the entire regular cast is used or an animated av featuring images of all seven cast members (I'll make myself available to handle the animation for anybody who needs an assist).

Hi Jinx. Could I ask for your help? I'm trying to these into an animation. I find it tough to get it right. Normally I'd use http://picasion.com/ but the more frames, the bigger the size or the smaller they get. I'm not very good. Three's about my limit with the KB allowed for an avatar.

Images are from a short video I've been working on. Feel free to crop, change the proportion and any adjustments to make it fit.

What's the upper limit for a size on an avatar. Is it still 140.0 KB? Or is it different for an animated one?

I think it's 140kb file size whether it's a single image or animated (tho' I don't think I've ever seen a single that hit 140kb).

140 kb is the absolute limit for all avatars, animated or not.

I've gone through my avatar again. Sharpen it up and zoomed in, cropped it a bit. Still okay with the rules hopefully.

Don't be too peeved, Jinx. Just something I had to do, having seen it at that size. Spotting few things that bugged me.

I ought to try and find the right program for this. I thought I had something on my PC that reduced the number of colours, allowing for a bigger size and still under the right KB size. I can't remember it. Looked around the tools I've got and nothing rings a bell. Just a vague recollection from ages ago.

I know that pain. When notice something and faced with leaving it or redoing the whole thing from scratch.
