Here are the winners of last week's contest:

Some guy named Belar won the episode contest with his repetitive "Carbon Creek" avatar (he wants me to inform you that he's very happy to take the first place He also thanks you for all the votes). And as a runner-up we have HopefulRomantic. Congrats!

This same person, called HopefulRomantic, won for Theme with Cowboy Jon. EMHMark613, another frequent poster, takes the 2nd place for his avatar. Congrats!

Thena won the Random Theme with a Cylon Centurion (hey, I also voted you)! JiNX-01 takes the 2nd place. Congrats!

And now on to a new week of avatar fun: This week's episode is "Minefield". I'll go with JiNX-01's suggested theme Making repairs — which I interpret as everything depicting our ENT heroes working on some kind of equipment. The Random Theme will be Trapped!!! (another JiNX-01 suggestion). I think this is self-explanatory. It can be from just everything slightly SF&F related.

Entries will be accepted until Saturday evening (8 pm GMT) (If someone needs more time just PM me). And of course they must conform to board rules (up to 140x140 pixels, 20 kb for JPGs, 70 kb for animated GIFs).

I have been to another wade through QSF, and I still don't see a size limit for .jpg avatars with the new board. Has the size-per-rank thing been tossed altogether?

I see many folks sporting hefty-sized avs around the place, but they're all higher-ranking.

If the 70k limit for any avatar is true for the board, it sure would make for some purty avs here. What do you think?

Here's mine for episode ! Although, I just liked the cap, so long since I have watched the episode, I'm not sure if she was cross at him or not!

Also, 70k for AVs? Can't see anyone complaining about that!

Yeah, everyone is allowed 70k now, and I think that is for both jpeg and gif (not 100% sure about that though).
