Recapping the last contest:

Time to hand out some pretty Golden Porthos awards!

Congrats to Lys, EMHMark, and JiNX for taking the gold for the episode Cease Fire, theme Shran!, and random theme I've Been Shot!

2nd-place honors (all by just one vote) go to YYZ for episode, DanTheGrey for theme, and Lys and Dan again for random.

This week episode is Future Tense.

Theme will be Hybrids - any Trek source.

Random Theme will be Blown up ship - any SF/F damaged or disabled ship.

Voting thread will go on on Saturday. Take your time, Saturday means Sunday morning for me and very late at night on Saturday for most of you.

As T'Pol would say, the combination is highly unlikely. I can't see why you couldn't use it. I didn't say it had to be an existing Trek source, so anything's possible. Go for it if you want...but I want to know who are the parents.

Maybe Soval (you could say she has his ears ) shared some quality with an Andorian ambassador during peace talks with Andoria?

Seriously, the main reason I made it was exactly because it was such an unlikely combination because of the history between the two races.

No, the haircut is the original haircut of the character from Cease Fire. All I did was adding Soval's vulcan ear, change it's color to match her skin, adding the brows and lighten the hair a bit to make the ear stand out more.

I was rooting for Shran and T'Pau as parents.

If that gets me your vote, that will be my story from now on.

Maybe it's a dumb question, and it's already been covered before, but is there any rule against entering different avatars of the same character as long as they're not carbon copies of another one?
Anyway, I don't see why we should limit ourselves to only one picture of such a cute baby.

Mhh, usually the rule in most of those contests is that it's O.K. if it's not the same shot, but in the end it's up to the contest runner (in this case you) what he or she allows.

And I dismissed it before it was posted, since I figured that naturally would be the first hybrid Enterprise fans would think about, and I can't risk my run of mediocricy in the ENT avatar contest by actually using the obvious choices.

Okay, I like babies, so if anyone wants to post more pics of Elizabeth, as long as they're not the same shot used by YYZ, you're free to do so. It doesn't mean I'm ruling out other hybrids. Bring on Spock and B'Elanna as well. The more, the merrier.
