DS9 Theme: The Jem'Hadar dying in battle. The Jem'Hadar pretty much always die senselessly. And bonus points for it being a Klingon ship rammed here- the Kingons would totally miss the "senseless" aspect...

Not sure if there are Capital One commercials in everybody's countries, but I couldn't resist this for the Episode...

DS9 Theme:

What the Dominion inflicted on the Teplan people was one of the most horrible, deliberately cruel things we saw on the show.

(Which also shows a lot about Section 31, too, if this was their inspiration.)

When I saw in Trek XI that in THIS universe Pike survived, I literally almost stood up and cheered for him! To me it doesn't matter if Trek XI Pike ever walks again--already he is so, so incredibly fortunate. And this in a universe where almost everyone else was changed for the worse. Pike WON. HE really WON.

The moment Damar's death at the end of DS9 became truly tragic.

One of my favorite Discworld moments that made me cheer aloud when I first read it, alas it is one that I can't capture on screen so instead I'll quote it in its glorious entirety...

'Off the hook, after all' - Li Nalas, last words. All his death did was prove he was only there for the big trilogy episode.

Random Theme:

Given that I've been becoming a semi-music mogul in the Commie lounge, and with a song called 'Yeah, Yeah, Yeah', or more simply 'Yeah 3x' around at the moment, this is quite appropriate for me.

A great moment . Though when discussing Death's absolute crowning moment of badassery, I go for "Hogfather":

That gets my vote. After all, there are three "yes!es" in the theme title - plenty of room for all those great moments. And Death playing the Empty Note is indeed the perfect visual representation...
