Well, let's ask it this way, if I were just to buy one season, which one should it be? I didn't enjoy the two episodes of the first season I saw, but I heard there's some TOS wankery later on that I'd like.

Dexter's first season was around $24. Okay, it's thirteen episodes, but halve &70 and you still get $45 - which means you'd be paying almost twice the amount, per episode, for Enterprise as you'd do for Dexter.

And Enterprise has a reduced price in this instance. Egad...

I got all four for $45 each, new, from WalMart, thanks to that Best Buy ad price mistake. Anyone remember that one?

The fourth season has all the TOS tie-ins and such. It's considered very good. But Season 3 is also surprisingly good. The Xindi saga is actually quite satisfying.

Damn thing happened durin' the payweek that I had to pay my rent, so I missed out.

I would have grabbed it-a good price. I am waiting for these to be repackaged at a lower price. eBay is still getting about $330 for non-import versions.

Here in the UK, TNG/DS9/VOY have all been repackaged into ultra thin slipcases. So it seems likely ENT will follow this year. I've noticed the US market seem to stick with the original packaging. The recent TNG combined set being an exception.
