I would never have imagined this ten years ago, but now I can. As crazy as reviving a cancelled TV show once sounded, like fine French wine, it now sounds great. Besides, Trek was once a cancelled show, before it became a hit years later.

What about new Trek? Bring it on! People want more action? (Without forgetting Trek is about ideas of course)Fine..incorporate that lesson into new series. First episode should have Archer and crew meet JJ Abrams trek! Add some more humor to Archer and he's good to go. Also..new ship and uniforms closer to classic trek..white ship design and etc.

Trek is about nerdy continuity..it's part of the fun. Part of the joy of trek is seeing old friends and nostalgia. Cameos from other characters would be great..not sure how, but you know, it's Trek. A revamped Enterprise series mixing action elements, and classic series would unite new and old Trek fans together. PS: orchestrated theme song this time, ending credits theme was better. also, if Bakula can't do it..at least do cameo...and how about Captain Trip? Captain Mayweather? Captain Hoshi? All good.

Enterprise has always been a handful of changes away from being my ideal Star Trek series concept. And they'd pretty happen through rebuilding the sets, advances in special effects, filming styles, moving it forward a couple of decades and a mix of returning & new characters.
