Ok, I'm Eric. I live near Cincinnati, OH with my partner of 8 years. I have three dogs and a recently acquired Cameleon. This is my third registration with TrekBBS and all of them have been with the handle NumberOne. I'm back, again.

I first started watching Star Trek reruns (TOS) with my Dad when I was a young lad. I initially refused to watch TNG but relented once the second season began and I gave it another chance. I like TNG and DS9 very much, but I pretty much like any ST series with varying degrees.

Well, I think that sums it up.

I would just like to point out that I'm TJ, I made this original post, and I have NO IDEA who the hell "HappyWaffle" is or where that came from. I logged on yesterday and found that all my posts had been changed to happywaffle.

Not that I have anything against waffles ... but ... I'm TJinLOCA. Thank you.

There was a board-wide hickup the other day. Posts were lost and poll options radnomly scrambled with each other. It probably affected you too.

Hm, I wonder if any more newly regged persons were mixed? Someone ought to check it out! But TechMaster AntonyF might have his hands full as it is.

I read something about that on the moderator board. It also explained why my emails to the admins keep getting bounced. Argh. Hopefully they'll have it fixed soon. (And if I'm really lucky, I'll get my post total to reflect all those posts that are now showing up for HappyWaffle! )

Don't know if i have posted on this thread before but thought i would do it again just in case.

Since I am new here I thought I would start out on the enterprise forum. Not my favorite series but I am interested in the 'viewing parties' -- seems like a fun idea.

Anyway, real name is Mike. I'm thirty-something, married, with.. hmm.. well lets just say "kids" plural.

I watched TOS with Dad when I was a kid but really got into Trek when TNG came out. Voyager is my favorite, so you will probably see me on that forum from time to time.

Me? I'm pretty much your average ordinary geek. 33, ex-infantry combat vet, love Sci-Fi, American Football (go Dolphins! Sigh.), and good fantasy. Gamer (both computer & tabletop).

In terms of favorites, TOS was always the one I liked the most with every single TNG-era series tied for Blah. Was mildly interested in ENT when it came on but missed enough early episodes to not really know the characters; dug the TnT interaction from early on. Started watching season 2 and quit 'cause of the (IMO) forced A'Tp interaction. Picked back up with 3 on a friends recommendation; was mildly interested although I HATED the T'Pol is a druggie storyline. LOVED season 4; that finale was awesome what with TnT holding hands!

Amateur author whose just now getting off his duff and writing stuff; oddly enough, it started with Enterprise...
