okeedokie, I'll play...

I'm S'el, mom to 2 kids, wife to 1 husband, and medical student (call me Dr. Beverly!).

STTNG was my favorite series until ENT came along. Even then, it took a while to grow on me. "Home" did it...after that, I went back and watched all of the episodes and fell in love with TnT and ENT. When the news came out that ENT was cancelled, I fell into a deep funk and did all of the writing to UPN affiliates and Paramount. I knew I had to find something to fill the "new ENT" void once the show was gone, so I found the new Battlestar Galactica...a great show. Different from ENT, but still good. You can like apples and oranges both, ya know! ;)

Anyhow, I have come to love this board and the people on it, particularly the TnT shippers. You guys are wonderfully funny! You've made a sad time more tolerable! Keep up the writing and the laughter!!! (And the smut!)

Welcome S'el! Sounds as if you have your hands pretty full with family and school. Enjoy the board. :)

And tell others to come visit. From the size of the post-"TATV" dropoff we could sure use new blood!

Hello I'm new to Trek BBS. I have known about this site for a while and I finally joined. I love this site, especially the Ent part of it and in the Ent part of it I love TnT's. My name is Lork Trek and I grew up with DS9 and Voyager. My favorite was Voy, but that was until Ent came out. So I just like to say hello and Live Long and Prosper.

Another newbie here. Having already posted a grand total of three times ;), I figured I should introduce myself.

I'm in my mid-thirties, living in the greater DC/Baltimore area, and am currently working in IT at an institution of higher learning.

Like many, I watched TOS in syndication when I was little. TNG came along when I was in high school, and I watched it when I could. I caught much of the first two seasons of DS9 until real life intervened (had to get a real job). Never could get excited about VOY.

ENT holds a special place in my heart, as my undergrad and grad school work was in astrophysics (planetary, to start with...I cried when I saw Sojourner in the opening credits for most of ENT's run), and the thrill of exploration shown on ENT really rings a bell with me. Character-wise...it seems i'm a Tuckerite with Reed tendencies, although a little bit of Archer (well-written Archer, please) is always welcome.

Other TV habits: 24, West Wing, Family Guy, Teen Titans. Buffy, Python and MST3K DVDs lurk on my shelf as reminders of loved series past.

I started lurking here on May 14, on the rebound from TATV. (Usually, I don't like being spoiled for TV...this is the one time I wish I had been.) Lousy timing, I'm sure, but it's good to be here.

I've been around the boards for almost a year, but I'm not sure if I ever properly introduced myself. My name is Beth and I'm from a small little town outside of Albany, NY called Averill Park. Been happily married for about 15 1/2 years and have 3 children.(Boy-13, Girl-9, Girl-3) I never was a Trek fan until I started watching TNG with my hubby. He was a big fan and I found myself slowly starting to like it as well. I really fell in love with Enterprise last year(just in time for it to be cancelled :( :( ) and now I suppose I would have to say I am an official Star Trek fan. :)

Welcome bether6074!

I'm kinda in a similar boat. I got hooked on TNG first and really became a fan in time for ENT's fourth and last season. :( I wonder sometimes why my timing was so bad.

Of course, the benefit to becoming a fan late in the game is that most of seasons 1 & 2 are brand-new to me, as well as 7 seasons of DS9 and VOY.

Hi everyone. I am also new to the boards. I guess I have been "monitoring" them for about 2 years but just recently decided to join in. My real name is Tony and I'm a 46 year old Aerospace Engineer and Fan since TOS. I'm glad to be here in some fine company. It seems you can have fun and enjoy Trek at the same time.

Been modeling aircraft and spacecraft (both real and fiction) for over 25 years. I guess if I did not do work for the space programs, I would be doing models or owning a Hobby Store.

I'm new here too. I've been browsing the BBS for a couple of months by now and finally decided to join in.
I've never considered myself a trekfan until Enterprise and Trip and T'Pol actually, even though I've seen episodes of all the series and liked them.
I'm from Chile and as you may guess english isn't my first language but I'm doing my best not to offend anybody.

What else can I tell you...
I'm an engineer and work on my own in a small consulting company in Santiago.

And I'm still pissed with Enterprise cancellation. It's just not fair!!!

That's it I guess.

OK, my turn! I've been lurking for awhile but I saw so many of my friends from HoT over here I decided I had to join in the fun. I'm TJ, in California. In real life I'm a champion skydiver, an international supermodel, and I raise award-winning purebred ferrets.

Oh, all right, I'm a 44-year-old mother of three, retired software engineer and technical writer, a lifetime ST fan (I used to publish fanzines and ran conventions, back in the days of yore) and I've got the hots for Connor Trinneer so bad that it's starting to interfere with real life. :p

Looking forward to chatting with you all!
