Enslaved: Odyssey To The West

Anyone played this demo on XLB or PSN, its a 3rd person adventure game from Ninja Theory. WIKI A slight touch of Uncharted in the game, which is always a good thing ;).

You-Tube

Got to admit I was surprised with the demo, it was pretty solid and the game looks a lot of fun. The combat is a little Force Unleash esq but without the OTT force powers :p. Early reviews place it between 8-9 scores and this could be the sleeper hit of 2010. The only thing that took a little used to was the camera but after that I had al ot of fun smashing mechs and climbing/swining around a big ass crumbling/exploding airship :techman:

I've needed a big adventure game ever since ME 2 and won't have to wait long, October 5th release date for North America and October 8th for Europe/UK.

I was pleasantly surprised after playing the demo and went and ordered it from Amazon, while they were selling it at £34.91, it's gone up a quid now but still a decent price.

I was very tempted to order it right away but recently got the Army of Two sequel to go through the co-op with a friend and I ordered Red Steel 2 with Motion Plus earlier. I plan to get MGS 4 next week for these game nights I do with some buddies so I might have to wait till November to pick this up

:( I need more money, the demo was so much fun.

cheapest I've seen so far is from ShopTo for £34.85 (360 and PS3).

I'm going to play the wait and see game with this one. Ninja Theory seems to have a lot of potential, but I'm not quite sure if they're "there" yet,

As a avid fan of Monkey Magic during my early teens, I must say I am curious about this one as it has an alternative take on the heroes from Journey to the West.

Is it just Monkey & Tripitaka, or is Pigsy & Sandy in there too?

Yep, I'm interested in the story it's based on, but I'm sure I'm going to be disappointed by how "loose" of an adaptation it will be.
