Enemies Faceoff (Season 4)

Moving on to Season 4. Vote for who you think caused Voyager the most grief in Season 4.

I know that some of these characters aren't "bad guys" per se, but they were the primary antagonists in the episodes that featured them. That's why they're on the poll.

The winners so far are:
  • Season 1: Seska
  • Season 2: The Vidiian Race
  • Season 3: Species 8472

You may choose two enemies.

I'm goin' with Annorax & Arturis, both villians who lost something and either wanted to save it or make someone pay for it, yet both windin' up enemies of Janeway & Company.

Annorax and Alpha Hirogen. I've got a feeling Annie is going to win this one...

I'm goin' with the Hirogen SS Officer and Arturis.

While Annorax was a villain, he was also more sympathetic than the Hirogen. And Arturis was just nuts. :p

Looks like it's a race between Annorax and Arturis. There always seems to be a few baddies who stand out from the rest in a season.

I choose the Borg because... they're the Borg. And then the Hirogen from The Killing Game. But I should have choosen the peeps from Year of Hell seeing what they did/could have done to Voyager and its crew.

The Borg accomplished practically nothing since their inception... Meanwhile Arturis killed Laura Palmer. That's the sort of gumbo that never settles down.

Can we really count Annorax? "Technically" his time-line was apparently reversed so he didnt *really* do the things he did.

My vote is for Aturis - forever Laura's Dad/Murderer (see Guy Gardener's comment) - and da Nazi captain in "Killing Game", he makes a good baddie! And a good goodie (in his various guises in Voyager, DS9 and Enterprise).

Ah but 6 seasons were reversed after Fury when they pushed the familiar story telling into a divergent timeline. Are we to say that nothing in the first 6 years happened, just because they didn't happen to the Janeway we knew in season seven?

When you get a chance check him out as the DEvil on a show called Reaper. He;s great.

Well, this is rather one (or two) sided. :p

Agreed.

And I hate time travel. At least the Trek version of it.

Vori and Srivani, because their episodes were memorable, and because people that mess with your head and body for their own goals seem diabolical than revenge driven baddies or the usually pissy bastards (so many alien races were just local thugs trying to bully Voyager) or even the borg.

If I could pick 3, I'd have picked the Hirogen leader in the two parter.

Annorax won this round, just barely edging out Arturis.
I'll start working on Season 5 tonight.
