I'm rooting for Dexter or Lost for Best Drama, and Pushing Daisies for Comedy.
Although, I have a very hard time understanding why Boston Legal is in with the Dramas instead of the comedies.

Lost, Damages or Mad Men from Drama. Comedy? I couldn't care less. Don't watch a single one of them since they're all patently unfunny.
Pushing Daisies needs to win for comedy series. Great show!
I'm ambivalent about the dramas. I watch both Boston Legal and Dexter (both on DVD, however, so I can't even say anything about this season!) and those are consistently good and worthy of awards...but I don't watch any of the other shows on the list.

I've said it before. I'll say it again and I'll continue to say it. How much are the producers of that god awful crap show "Grey's Anatomy" nominated every single year?

Lost's The Constant was probably the best episode of Lost EVER so I think it has a great chance of actually winning it's second overdue series Emmy this year. FNL submitted the best episode of it's season 2. Dexter deserves to win because of season one alone.

"The Constant" was an absolutely amazing episode, maybe the best episode of any show I've ever seen. It should definitely win, but my favorite never does, so it probably won't.

The Emmys people want people to actually watch the broadcast. It's very inconvenient for them that so many of the quality shows are on basic and premium cable, where the audience is just a couple million people.
Drama- The Wire. Anything else is just criminal.
Comedy- Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Family Guy in the running for Best Comedy? What the fuck is the Emmys smoking? I know there aren't many comedies but Family Guy?! Family Guy has been absolutely awful since its return and it's not even the best cartoon on its own network, let alone on television. South Park is the best cartoon and King of the Hill is far superior to the toilet cheap heat garbage of Family Guy. Hell, you could make an argument for King of the Hill to be nominated. Even a way-past-their-prime Simpsons is better on its worse day than FG.
The Emmys continue to prove their a joke by not including Battlestar Galactica and including the overrated and past-their-prime Boston Legal. Friday Night Lights deserves recognition. Even though they had some great episodes last year, FNL was wildy inconsistent and it certainly didn't have a better year than BSG.

And enough already with BSG. This season was gawdafull and borrowing. I almost forgot it was on a couple of times until my coworker reminded me when we have our weekend discussions on Monday. BSG is a freaking snoozefest.
