Elizabeth Edwards R.I.P.

Elizabeth Edwards died of Breast Cancer today. Now I wasen't a fan of John Edwards, I think he's a fony, but I have a ton of respect for her. She seemed like she had real class. As I've said before, my mom died last year of breast cancer. She died in the same way, liver failure. The doctor told my family that there would be no more treatment for her. This too is the same for Edwards. I'm assuming she must have died in a similar fashion. It apears to have been quick. My mom loved Elizabeth Edwards and held a great repect for her, so to me her death has a certain personal meaning even though I do not know her. This death has mustered up sadness as I know what the Edwards family must be going through and sympathize. The tears I cry now are for my mom though, I won't lie. I supose some can be Elizabeth too, call me selfeish. I don't know if anyone has ever witnessed a person dying from liver failure, but it sucks, your skin turns yellow and it just lookjs bad. Anyway, my heart goes out to the Edwards family. May mom and Elizabeth meet in the afterlife, if there is such a thing. Elizabeth was 61, my mom died 10 days before her 62nd birthday. It would seem they were kindred spirits in a way.

Sad news, not unexpected but still sad.

She was classier lady than her husband could ever hope to be and my thoughts and prayers are with her children and family and friends.

RIP sweet lady, you have earned it.

I feel terribly sorry for her children, especially the older kids. To lose a brother, to have your father's infidelity splashed over every TV station in the world, then to lose your Mom.

She was a smart, strong, classy woman. It's very sad new all around.

Celebrity deaths aren't usually something I comment on, but for some reason this one got to me. I don't know much about Elizabeth Edwards but I do hope she's at peace now. Her family has been through a lot and I can only hope they eventually find peace too. I'm not going to comment on her husband or how she dealt with the situation because there's probably so much more that went on than any of us know. And people should not be defined by affairs, because we are all much more complicated than that.

My thoughts are with her family.
