I still like him, most other people still seem to as well. To each their own.

Oh, I understand that perfectly. I like Matt Smith, and I liked him to start with. I like him when Moffat isn't writing him. When Moffat is writing him I only see a jumble of the Fourth and Seventh. When others write him I see a funny autistic alien.

I tend to see Two and Five with a sprinkling of most of the others. I would say that sometimes he does come across differently depending who's writing him, and much as I still enjoy most of the Moffat eps I would admit that of my top episodes of S6, none were written by Moffat.

I think Smith has been the best thing about the two seasons and Xmas special he's been in. He, Karen and Arthur have carried the poorer episodes with their watchability, presence and chemistry.
