Jones is probably best known for playing Jonathan "Pa" Kent in "Lois & Clark", but he also appeared in films like " The Rocketeer" and "A League of Their Own".

He'll always be my favorite Jonathan Kent (in my favorite Superman cast) but I also remember him as Edwin Stanton in The Day Lincoln was shot.

Mine, as well. His Pa Kent was always supportive, always gave advice, but never pushed any decisions on his family. He and K Callan had such wonderful chemistry, as well as an inner warmth that really made them seem like the greatest parents one could wish for, the kind of parents that would have brought up a person like Clark Kent.

I loved him as The Official in The Invisible Man tv series. He could be both imposing and sympathetic at the same time.
