This reddit thread has a huge list of references

Very cool! Are there more on set photos like that?

Ted has been posted a bunch over the weeks.
I can't actually find the original source of the one I posted with the books.

The "Black Fleet" is mentioned. This a reference to the TOS Novel 'The Final Reflection' and is part of the Klingon Afterlife in that book. This is before Sto'Vo'Kor was created.

'The Final Reflection' was mentioned by several people in the production as part of the inspiration for the Klingons in the show.

I don't think it is readable on screen, but according to one of the designers Kahless' prophecy mentioned in TNG: "Rightful Heir" is written somewhere on the inside of the Klingon ship in the Klingon Language:

'"I will go now, to Sto-Vo-Kor. But I promise one day I will return." Then Kahless pointed to a star in the sky and said, "Look for me there, on that point of light."'

The fact that the Klingon High Council is made up of 24 Great Houses I believe first appeared in the Star Trek: Encyclopedia.

The mention of Donatu V (which I had floated out before as possibly being mentioned), as well as Burnham saying she wanted to be part of the Vulcan Expedition (Kirk mentions being on that expedition!)

Mention of General Order One and phase cannons.

Bridge noises are all TOS. Transporter effect is vey TOS (sparkling lights), but modernized.

These aren't really call-backs or easter eggs, though, since the show takes place 10 years before TOS and they are considered normal! :vulcan:

They're call backs to a series that was filmed before, although the timeframe of it takes place after this, which makes it a call ahead, but we're not trying to go somewhere for dinner, yet Easter eggs are mentioned...

I'm sorry, but that's the Vulcanian Expedition
Oh, I know. My thinking is that the script used Vulcan to generalize it in DSC. But I'm assuming it was the same one Kirk eventually goes on, along with some of the other officers that were seen in the bar in "Court Martial".

Laikan, the Capital City of Andoria in the novels is now canon thanks to Discovery

Or well, at least the name of the city and the fact it is on Andoria, no where on the plaque does it say it is the capital :P
