Earth-Romulan War Poster

I like that.I was trying to come up witha poster for my Earth-Romulan War stuff. Here's one for the website.
What if you add an earth ship to the bottom, and a romulan up top? That might better illustrate what is going on.
Ships would be great. That will be one of the next posters I do. I just have to get some good images of the Enterprise and a Romulan Ship. Symbols would work good in the mean time, or as their own poster. I'm going to make my own version of the Romulan Symbol, though. The Earth symbol would be the known one, I just need a vector version.
The planet Romulus is a composite from a Nemesis Screencap. If I want a Higher res image I'll have to make my own Romulus.

Yeah. "War is Coming" and the two planets in opposition is pretty clear to me. of course. If you leave off the "Earth-Romulan War" title, then it's less clear who the earth is at war with. Could be any sci-fi story, but with the title, it's great as is.

I agree...I think the title makes it clear enough what's going on. Too much and it becomes cluttered. This design works just fine--it's simple, easy to remember, and therefore effective advertising.
Neato! Though an overlay of the symbols would make it clearer and if a degree transparent won't make it too cluttered.
Awesome poster, gives the ominus feeling of coming war. I did a few posters for one of the art contests back in 05 here they are feel free to scarf some ideas from them.

These are cool. Of a different style to the OP but demonstrates very clearly the war idea. Of course a fan would know either way.
Thanks for the comments everyone. I've got a few more ideas floating around for some other posters. On idea is to have a earth soldier holding his weapon and a battle feild in the background. I got the inspiration for that one from Halo. I just need to make a uniform or something and take some pictures. That one would take a bit more work. Some of the other ones, like with symbols and thinks will be easier to do.
The soldier aka Halo image would be so cool.

Your Romulan War Story sounds interesting. I'm working on a version too. My Romulan War work will be centered around the novel trilogy that I'm writing. You can see parts of it by clicking on the link in my signature. The story focuses on one of the ancestors Lieutenant Stiles mentions in Balance of Terror. Other main plots include the crew of the Enterprise and the rest of the war effort.

Really? I disagree. As a teaser poster this is spot on perfect. This makes me think, "Huh, I wonder if that's gonna be good. I think I'll go home and look up the trailer." It's simple in it's symmetry and it lacks the clutter lots of posters tend to have. One of my favorite teaser posters of all time is for Star Wars Episode I, the one where its a building on Tatooine with young Anakin Skywalker walking toward camera, but casting the shadow of Darth Vader on the wall. It's simple and effective. A good teaser.
Now, maybe the realease onesheet would be a little more involved, but still I believe less is more.
