Earp -- best known for the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, where he fought alongside his two brothers and compadre Doc Holliday -- is placed in a futuristic world where he takes on outlaws in a ravaged society whose only remaining boomtown is Las Vegas.
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Western hero Wyatt Earp is getting the sci-fi treatment via Sam Raimi.
The director of the first three "Spider-Man" films is attached to shoot "Earp: Saints for Sinners," a DreamWorks project based on a graphic novel.

Could be fun, but I wish Raimi would just get around to doing THE SHADOW already . . . .
