Early Enterprise-D comparison

Me too. I would buy every magazine that even mentioned TNG.

Interesting bit of fan magazine trivia: In the 50-year mission Vol 1. the Starlog magazine creators said they originally were creating a Star Trek magazine for a client publisher who turned out not to have the rights to publish a Star Trek branded magazine. The entire first issue was created as a demo and then canceled. So the guys said what if we make it a general scifi magazine instead, and spread the Trek content we have over a few issues and add some other scifi articles. The publisher bought the idea and Starlog was born.

Katherine "I'll answer to anything" Janeway then....
Except ma'am or sir, I forgot which one she didn't like. Preferred Captain because by then they weren't taking a chance if they had to recast a second time having to re-type the script.

I have 3 Galoob Enterprise D's. I remember it was about 1/2" undersized compared to the original Star Fleet Battles scale Enterprise (Command Cruiser) miniature and or the FASA mini. So, pretty damn close to that original comparison.

God damn I need to start collecting older Star Trek magazines. Star Trek: Communicator was dope(Tom Haverford voice).

I think they should and probably eventually will offer digital archives of old magazines.

I got a hold of some old Starlogs and really enjoyed reading those old articles. Also you get creators' perspective when they were young and doing it as opposed to when they are older and memories aren't what they were or their opinions and philosophies have changed.
