What was your favorite episode from each season of DS9...I'll give it a go, I just hope I have the seasons right...(oh..three restrictions..no season openers OR season enders or series finale)

1. Duet
2. Blood Oath
3. The Die is Cast
4. The Visitor
5. Children of Time

6. Pale Moonlight (and His Way. My wife is watching me type this and threatened a sex embargo if I didn't.)

7. Treachery, Faith and the great river.

"Dramatis Personae"

"Trials and Tribble-ations"

Season 6
"You Are Cordially Invited..." ("His Way" is my next most favourite episode in that season, and unlike Robert, nobody is pressuring me to say that, I just love that episode. )

Season 7
"Take Me Out to the Holosuite"

Season 2 - The Wire
Season 3 - Improbable Cause/Die is Cast*
Season 4 - The Visitor
Season 5 - In Purgatory's Shadow/By Inferno's Light*
Season 6 - Far Beyond the Stars
Season 7 - Tacking into the Wind

*= If we were only doing one episode and no ties, than Improbable Cause and In Purgatory's Shadow would be my picks respectively.

Underrated

Season 1 - Battle Lines
Season 2 - Cardassians
Season 3 - Through the Looking Glass
Season 4 - The Quickening (Or Hard Time but Quickening is better)
Season 5 - Nor the Battle to the Strong
Season 6 - Honor Among Thieves
Season 7 - It's Only a Paper Moon

3 - Second Skin
4 - To The Death, Hippocratic Oath, or Return to Grace *
5 - either Nor the Battle to the Strong, In Purgatory's Shadow/By Inferno's Light, or Ties of Blood and Water (otherwise it would have been Call to Arms)
6 - In the Pale Moonlight, or Favor the Bold/Sacrifice of Angels
7 - Tacking into the Wind, or Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges (Treachery, Faith and the Great River was also great)

*This was difficult because, while season 4 was very consistent and had many excellent episodes, none of them stand out so much for me, and whenever I make top 10 and top 20 lists, there is usually not a single season 4 episode in it. With season 5, I have a different problem - there are just too many S5 episodes I would put in my personal top 10)

Oops, I didn't see that. So, that means I'll have to change my season 5 pick.

I'm not sure why that rule? It's not like DS9's season finales are, for the most part, different than most of the seasons' episodes... ironically, the one I picked actually is! (Call to Arms)

OK...here are my choices. I gotta tell you, I had a hard time with seasons 1 & 3. Each had 2 really good episodes. But season 5 was the hardest. It had 8 really good episodes.

I don't think I'd choose season premieres or finales anyway. A lot of them, like Emissary and WYLB, are way over-rated.

S5: In the Cards (this is one of the only places where I also might have put a finale in Call to Arms)
S6: In the Pale Moonlight
