I think Nintendo will "win" E3 again this year (last E3 was great for them) because of the 3DS, "Project Cafe'", the last generation of great Wii games (Skyward Sword!), and maybe something from the regular DS too.
As for Sony, well, I think they will have a hard time this year because of what's happened with the Playstation Network. They will have to address the problem. Hopefully they won't talk about it too much (or too little. lol). Of course, they do have some interesting games coming and a new system (NGP). Sony has to really come out swinging this time. They have a lot to prove to us (gotta win back fans). Hopefully they will focus on Hardcore gamers this year and not say too much about the Move.
Oh and Microsoft...I have no idea. More Kinect games? Ugh. I admit I don't keep up with Microsoft a lot now, but I think that they had a VERY BAD showing last year at E3 (though Sony's wasn't that much better...). They need to win back the hardcore gamers this year (much like Nintendo did last year).
I like all three systems, though I'm def. biased toward Nintendo & Sony. Especially Nintendo since I have a Wii & 3DS (plus I've owned a lot of the other systems).
Still, I hope everyone does great at E3. There's plenty of room for all three systems & I think it would be great to go into E3 and see no clear winner. As I said earlier though, I really do believe that Nintendo will "win". Time will tell I guess.

Nintendo will finally have something worthwhile to show off because their E3 shows generally SUCK. I am very interested to see the NGP though god Sony please give it a proper name at E3. Microsoft I hope you got something to show other than people riding elephants

Nintendo had a GREAT E3 show last year. Though, the years before that were not so good. This year should be even better than last year though because of all the 3DS stuff, the new system, the last gen. Wii games, etc.
Can't say I'm interested in NGP. It just looks like Sony is trying to ripoff a lot of Nintendo's ideas (touch screen, camera, AR, suprised it doesn't have 3D...lol).

Ditto on the Microsoft thing. lol. And I think Sony will do fine as long as A) The Store is back by then and B) They talk about the debacle, but don't talk about it too much. C) have a bunch of cool games to show off.

Very likely. I think there was even a rumor or maybe it an announcement of a new Resident Evil game. Plus they have TWO RE games to show off for the 3DS. I'm sure there will be one for the PS3/360 too.
I haven't been keeping up with the 360 much, but this does seem likely to me. The Slim has been out for awhile now. Maybe they'll announce some kind of special Slim/Kinect bundle or something.
Elder V will def. be there. Ditto for Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3 (even though its not going to be out till next year now), and Batman Arkham Asylum. I'm sure trailers & gameplay.
As for Metal Gear Rising, maybe. Konami has been pretty quiet about that game recently...
Oh and I agree with Kadratis. Its too bad about Valve. Disappointing that they won't be there. I want HL2 EP3 also. lol.
That all said, I'm looking forward to Nintendo the most. 3DS & etc. Though I am interested in what Sony has to show. I'm only sort of interested in Microsoft. Not sure if I'll watch Microsoft's conference or not...

Personally I think MS will be heavy on the Gears 3, and maybe a new Halo announcement for next year, a bit like the first Reach trailer. They'll make a technical announcement about the new increased storage space DVDs they'll be using and probably a new limited edition 360. Unless they decide to show their hand with something big like a teaser for the next Xbox or whatever, I can't see their show packing much punch (although i'll be very excited if they do announce a new Halo).
I will be interested to see what is going off with this Halo HD Remake to celebrate the 10th birthday of the franchise, if it's got co-op like 3, ODST & Reach then I will glady get the game. Apart from some proper games for Kinect and showing off Gears 3, its hard to imagine what MS will show off but am sure they have an ace up their expensive sleeves.
I don't think they will talk up a new X BOX though next year I expect it to be announced but I don't see it coming out till Easter 2014 at the earliest.

my nintendo controller prediction, all touch screen. no analog stick, no d-pad, no gameplay buttons. devs will be able to layout the screen however they want for control
