E3 2013 Discussion

My games collection is a mixture of the odd shooter or racing game, with a lot more platformers, puzzle games, themed games, random quirky ones etc

I don't have a collection any more, really, traded most in. What I kept was Prince of Persia collection, Spider-Man, Uncharted series, Super Mario games, Silent Hill, Mass Effect series. But basically it's a mix of everything, including action games, adventure games, open world, shooters, puzzle games, platformers, strategy and indie game.

But Nintendo's philosophy of doing games you enjoy playing and going back to is the right one for me, I'd take that over Microsoft's "Throw $200m at it and make generic action shooter 3."

That's my problem with the PS3 and 360, I feel that they are just consoles to shoot things. Sure there is a random other game (And sports games, but I rather just play the sport) but how many times can I shoot something and not get bored by it.

How. very. wrong.

I still have most of my games for over a dozen consoles.

Yeah, same. I've mostly switched over to using my Wii or PSP to emulate my classic systems, but I can't quite bring myself to get rid of my older systems or games.
