Personally, I think that Microsoft is being more consumer-friendly with these policies than Valve is.

What? Name one policy that's more consumer-friendly than Valve's Steam?
Those are exactly what I had in mind.Personally, I think that Microsoft is being more consumer-friendly with these policies than Valve is.

You can lend games to a friend, people in your family can use your games. That would be what I'd consider to be better than Steam.
I feel the same way. I had a PS2 and was planning on getting a PS3, but the 360 was just better value at that time (early 2007) and I "jumped in". It was a bloody good games console with a lot of great exclusives, and I never felt the need to buy a PS3. I think the PS3 had the better exclusives in the latter half of this generation, and I was envious of the lack of a paywall, but I still don't regret switching to the 360. But next gen it will have to be a PS4, and I don't see a compelling reason for me to buy an Xbox One.Was thinking it was funny how 7 years ago I didn't even consider the possibility of getting a PS3 and thought the Xbox 360 was fantastic/all I needed. And it's almost completely reversed now.
Disappointing Nintendo. As an Nintendo fan I loved what I saw, but this will do nothing to expand your market. Where's the Wii Sports U? You can't just appeal to your core Nintendo fanbase if you want to stay afloat this generation.

I don't agree with that at all, that's what keeps them afloat, and Wii Sports U isn't for E3 Nintendo Direct. What Nintendo's issue is I have NEVER seen an ad for Wii U, no one knows it's out.

The core Nintendo fanbase leads to Gamecube level sales. At best. Nintendo needs to do better than that.

Once they get word out they have a new system, that can play your Wii games and it's so much easier and cheaper than the others I think they will be fine.
