Not quite the 99p sale, but it seems like a huge number of trek books have been dropped to £2.99 on amazon uk. Lots that I've never seen on any kind of sale before like Dark Mirror, Diplomatic Implausibility, The 34th Rule, A Stitch In Time & Sarek.

Yay!!! Klingon Gambit!!!! (Not because it’s good or anything. I just now have old school Pockets #1-3 in Kindle as well as in yellow paper. (Watch out #4, Covenant of the Crown! You’re next!)

Also, one more crossed off my “didn’t have in print or eBook” list: Rise of the Federation: Live By the Code. (Plus two more “had in print, getting now in eBook”: New Earth: Challenger and Voyager Chrss … Um, Voyager Chryssthymuss (checking again) Voyager Chrysalis!)

Hopefully there are more still coming. Doesn’t seem to be the whole $0.99 batch yet, I don’t think.

I really want to read some ENT fiction, so I’m gonna pick up the titles on sale this month. Then I can hopefully read them when on vacation. And hopefully the dog is a character beyond set dressing.

Hey now, I happen to like The Klingon Gambit. I have it on paperback and Kindle.

 I actually don’t think I’ve ever read The Klingon Gambit (even though I’ve owned a copy of it for like forever now). I just seem to recall people saying that it was a bit of a come down from Vonda N. McIntyre’s The Entropy Effect (which was probably a bit inevitable).

In case you're not already, please be aware that the two ENT books on sale this month are from a post-series-finale book series, in fact set after the foundation of the Federation, so it's not going to be the same as the show, if that's what you're looking for. And the two books are actually #1 and #4 of the series, which has a high level of continuity, so if you just go from one to the other, you're probably missing a fair bit.

I don't recall Porthos having a significant role, but admittedly it's been a while since I read them.

All but one of Rise of the Federation is on sale. I’m hoping I can read them altogether.

Not making the dog a character is a lost opportunity. After reading Lessons in Chemistry, where the dog is my favorite character, I’d love to see the dog’s POV.

Anyway, I’m getting off topic. Hopefully I’m good to go.
