E-Book Pricing Alerts

There’s a LOT of books discounted to £2.99 today on Amazon UK (some were recently discounted to 99p, but most haven’t been discounted for a while if ever).

I started to list them, but there are far too many - covers pretty much every series and there are some great books in there.

I believe Inception and The Nanotech War are the only "new to the monthly sale" ones.

Twilight's End is still 99 cents on Amazon.ca, and I, Q is still $1.99 there too, but they seem to be Amazon exclusives? Kobo shows them both at full price.

I have deliberately excluded the "perma-sale" books from this list, so if any of them have cropped up again officially in the March sale, they won't be reflected here.



It will probably be soon. They don't always have it updated for the first day the new sales come into effect, but it is usually shortly thereafter.

Also, just to mention... I know it's maybe a little more difficult for you at the moment, since you don't have the ability to edit your own posts yet, but just wanted to give a gentle, friendly reminder to please not post more than twice in a row.

It's incredible - there must be more than a hundred! Including a lot of the major events: A Time To..., Destiny, The Fall, Prey. So many that haven't been discounted before too. I picked up twenty books.

Which ones are must reads that are on sale? I have a backlog to read from last year, and I don’t like buying books without having enough time to read them.

A tough one! I have a particular soft spot for the mid-90s hardbacks, and those are very well represented, but there's loads of other great novels.

I don't know what you've got already, but if I had to limit it to, say, three (i.e., a tenner's worth)? Federation, Serpents Among the Ruins, and The Sorrows of Empire (with a throw in of the Millennium omnibus as a bonus) - although your tastes may be different to mine, as I do like the sweeping epics.

This is invaluable thank you so much. Some breathtaking savings. TOS Constellations Anthology reduced from £19.99 to £2.99! Yes please. I'm sure there'll be lots more.
 
I hope we eventually get some of the UK sales ebooks too. A time to being some of them.

But it’s great to see the UK get such a diverse amount on sale too. I just checked the UK has some great selection of TREK ebooks on sale, I’m envious and jealous at the same time..

Harm’s Way... From History’s Shadow, (holy hell even Titan #4 Sword of Damocles which has never dropped below $15) all for £3 unbelievable. Inconceivable!!!! :)

There are many more than have NEVER been on sale in the US TREK SALES at all since 2016. Don’t overlook the gems.

If you see it on sale don’t wait. I think it is a way to increase the prices of Trek ebooks from $7.99 up to and not including $13.99 or more permanently.

But this up and down on prices has been like a rollercoaster ride from hell :) It can’t get any crazier than this... I predict we are all going to be a LOT poorer in next coming months. I’m definately setting money aside to be ready just in case.

Take a loan..cough up a kidney. Who needs that extra organ? Doctor Who maybe?

Do what must be done Lord Vader. Show no mercy.

Keep it coming everyone.

Yup, I'm also glad our friends across the pond are getting some awesome sales after sometimes not getting stuff as good as the US sales. I'm envious of some of those on sale, I've wanted to add the A Time To books for a while now.

Its more than just price increases, the random sale books at Canadian Kobo appear to be on DRM'd replacements for previously DRM free books. I've almost bought a couple of books that I already owned the DRM free version of.

I just picked up ENT: What Price Honor from Amazon in Canada for $2.99.

Yes, this one seems to be perpetually on sale along with the Avatar duo and one of the old TOS titles (Battlestations! IIRC). I like that there are a few starter titles available at all times.

Awesome to see so many random titles going on sale lately! It's definitely helping fill in some gaps in my collection.
 
I've had a good month with the Trek ebooks this month and let's hope this run of good titles, and good prices, continues. Now all I need to do is get through the backlog of titles that's grown up.

Thank you! That’s one of the ones that I didn’t have in either print or ebook! (Also am picking up Gauntlet (Stargazer) and The Heart of the Warrior, both also for $1.99 at the moment. I’m tempted to get Crossover for $2.99 but I still have the original hardcover release of that one and think I’ll wait to see if it resurfaces for $0.99 or $1.99.

I notice that Demons (TOS #30) is suddenly number two in the Amazon Star Trek fiction top 100. It’s $8.49 right now. Makes me wonder if if also dropped lower for a bit and then went back up again?
