Got one. As a Newbie, I need all the help I can get.

Hey all,

As of 4/8 Star Trek Hearts and Minds by Dayton Ward in ebook has dropped in price from $9.99 to $6.99 now on Amazon.

I just bought the ebook now to catch up to Available Light. I'm not sure if its a permanent price drop. But I wasn't taking any chances after a 4 month price INCREASE to $9.99 that is more than likely to be PERMANENT again at $9.99.

Just FYI.

The Autobiography of Jean-Luc Picard

Most of the recent e-book editions of the recent releases are $6.99 so the drop is probably permanent.

All due respect JD that's not true on Amazon. Its maybe 50/50 actually.

From 2017 on back:
ST TNG Headlong Flight $7.99
ST Titan: Fortunes of War $8.99
ST DS9 Original Sin $6.99
ST TNG Armageddon's Arrow $7.49
ST DS9 enigma tales $7.99
ST DS9 the long mirage $6.99
ST TNG Prey Book 3 $7.49
ST VOY Architects of Infinity $6.99
ST Section 31 Control $8.99
ST ENT Patterns of Interference IS $9.99

The reason I posted is that more than two ebooks had RISEN in price to $9.99 from $6.99 or $6.99 to 8.99 or $9.99 and the latest Enterprise ebook did just that from 2017. But please you be the judge. Its just meant to inform.
Thanks,
-Koric

Sorry to about that, I never really paid that close of attention, I just noticed that I've seen a lot of $6.99 Trek books when l skimmed through my Google Play wishlist.

Its ok my friend :). I just wanted everyone to know what I saw. Especially since MOST of the older ebooks older than 2011 were INCREASING to $8.99 and $9.99 some even to $12.99 now and rarer by still going to $14.99 for a single ebook in a series.
For example ST Titan Sword of Damocles is $14.99 for an ebook still when the rest of the series is $7.99.

Or ST TOS. That Which Divides is $14.99 too.

Its the more recent ebooks that are INCREASING in price now too. That's why I mentioned the price drop in ST TNG HEARTS AND MINDS increasing from $6.99 to $9.99 then back to $6.99. Which I dont believe its permanent.

No worries my friend. Thank you for the apology. But, there's no need :) We are both trying to let everyone know about prices and that's only a good thing.

All the best,
-Koric

I believe most of the ones that went up to $12.99 or $14.99 are the ones where the paperback has switched over to print on demand, which are those prices, and the ebooks' prices went up to match. It doesn't really make a lot of sense to me since it's still the same ebook that used to be half that price, but oh well.

New .99 cent ebook deal possibly for May on Amazon:

All six Star Trek Signature editions for .99 cents
And three Errand of Vengence ebooks are .99 cents too.

Grab them while you can everyone! :)

All the best,
-Koric

Thanks! Picked up the three Signature series books I didn't have yet (love the covers on these) and the single Errand of Vengeance book I was missing (guessing the other two went on sale on some point without the third?)

So, for those of us that have been picking up all the sale books for over a year, how are your kindle collections looking? Over half of my collection is Star Trek, and I have 460 Kindle books altogether. From the rest, maybe a quarter is retro gaming stuff, the rest everything from Steven King to JRR Tolkien.

The Q Continuum Signature Edition is still $8.99 on Google Play and Kindle, but the Errand of Vengeance books were $0.99 when I was on Google Play yesterday.

Very cool! I picked up the Vulcan and Genesis story collections. Spock's World and The Search for Spock are easily worth that, and it's nice to have an ebook copy of Sarek.

Hmm, I guess the Q Continuum Signature Edition is being excluded from the deal, it's still $8.99.

That seems to be the case. Still, it's three books for $9 instead of the individual titles for $9, so it's what I would consider fairly priced.

The official May ebook deals page is up:

https://www.simonandschuster.com/c/ebookpromomay2019

It ends June 2nd.

@Leathco my Kindle fire is stuffed lol. my tastes in ebooks are pretty wide ranging Star Trek, Star Wars, lots of Rock Biographies. Horror books.

As Trek fans we are lucky. Trek ebook deals are great. Star Wars ebooks get discounted from $8.99 or $7.99 to ONLY $4.99.

Just to put it into perspective. But, regardless Im always grateful for each and every one of these AWESOME deals, and many thanks to all for this great thread and all who contribute to it always.
All the best.

Oh yeah, I was a little surprised when I first saw that the Signature Edition was the same price as the individual books.

The Amazon UK 99p e-books this time out are Gateways, Errand of Vengeance and Destiny.

Can the Gateways books be read as standalone?
