Ah thanks. Nothing there I'm dying for, and since I'm trying to hold off buying things until I finish more of my unread books, it doesn't look like I'll be getting any of these.
 
Looks like the prices are continuing to drop!
Titan: Synthesis, Voyager: Cloak And Dagger and DS9: Warpath have now dropped to only 99 cents.
 
I’d be picking up so friggin’ many of these, but of course not available in Canada. This really grinds my gears.

As it does mine...out of the lowest two price points, only String Theory has had its discounts matched in Canada. :/

I already have a lot of these. Not interested in the NF books, but I did pick up the Voyager String Theory trilogy. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date!

Some of the books in the Strange New Worlds series are down to 1.99 as well. 1, 3, 4, and 7 so far.

Yeah, all this thread does is depress me lately. :(

I'd be really interested in hearing someone from Simon & Schuster Canada try to justify these wild discrepancies. You wouldn't think that most of the excuses that corporations usually trot out in cases like these would really be applicable here.

I did find a couple things that might be considered "Canadian" deals, while searching to see if we got any of the deals listed above. (Spoiler alert: no.)

The Art of Star Trek is $9.99, which seems fairly good for a large art book (although I have no idea how well it would show on a digital device)

Both volumes of The Fifty-Year Mission are $15.99. It's no $1.99, but it's still about half of the online discounted hardcover price. I've never read either of these, and therefore cannot comment on how good or bad they may be.
 
I must say all these 99 cent/ $1.99 Trek Ebooks that I'm fortunate to get to buy lately has been a chance to branch out into different areas of Trek novels which have not considered buying before, like Corps of Engineers, Vanguard, and more recent New Frontier. And getting Ebooks cheaper for some books already stocked is pretty much a happy bonus. More Trek prose in hand IMO rates a good thing yes.

Just taking a really quick look at Canadian Dollars compared to US Dollars, the exchange rates to me would indicate part of the problem.

Also, it only seems to be Amazon.com (and other US sites) that have these prices, Amazon.co.uk, same as the .ca site doesn't have these reduced prices. - There isn't even a .ie site which creates all sorts of issues when ordering things from Amazon as one needs to go through the .co.uk site which is geo-locked for certain products.
