E-Book Pricing Alerts

I haven't posted a lot of the Canadian deals lately, because they seem to have been surprisingly in sync with the US deals recently, so they were all pretty much covered by @coffeeramblings and @Smiley . But I noticed some today that I don't think I've seen mentioned elsewhere, so I figured I'd just give the current state of the Canadian sales that I'm seeing. (I won't bother repeating the 99-cent ones, though.)

$1.99

TOS #16: The Final Reflection
TOS #77: Twilight's End
TOS #86: My Brother's Keeper, Book 2: Constitution
TOS: The Captain's Oath
TNG: I, Q
TNG: The Battle of Betazed
TNG: Greater Than the Sum
DTI: Time Lock

$2.99

TOS: The Latter Fire
TOS: Agents of Influence
TNG #18: Q-in-Law
TNG #32: Requiem
TNG: Descent

$3.99

TOS: Living Memory
TNG: Takedown

The Autobiography of Benjamin Sisko is also currently marked down to $6.99.

Dark Victory is $1.99 today. Given how many days there has been one or more Star Trek books in the Amazon Daily Deals recently, it is probably good advice just to bookmark that section and check it daily.

I guess the daily “did they add something else for $1.99” has ended at least for now on Amazon (U.S.). Nothing new in the top 100 in the last few days. Maybe it’s because of Amazon Prime Days about to happen. Or maybe they’ve just stopped for awhile (or have pretty much used up the ones they are going to do it with).

Canadian here, so your local mileage may vary but whenever Amazon does their big sales they never seem to put ebooks on sale. I have wish lists with hundreds of books on them (including basically every Trek book I don't already have) and the prices don't seem to move at all during Prime Days.

This isn't an ebook, but it has a Trek connection. The West Wing complete series box set is on sale for $43 right now on Amazon. The show provided some inspiration for the book Star Trek: Articles of the Federation, and I just wanted to share this with some other Trek fans interested in good prices.

I can’t find the old “Star Trek novels not available in e-book” thread, so I guess I’ll ask this here. Looking over the Starfleet Corps of Engineers omnibus editions, it looks to me like the following are not available in e-book (again, the actual omnibus versions, not the individual novellas): Aftermath (omni #8), Out of the Cocoon (omni #12), What’s Past (omni #13). (And also the TOS Mere Anarchy omnibus, too.)

Is this correct? And if so, I’m puzzled as to why Grand Designs (SCE omni #9), Creative Couplings (omni #10), and Wounds (omni #11) are all available in ebook (but #8, Aftermath, isn’t)? It makes sense that the last two aren’t (if they just decided to stop offering them in ebook), but Aftermath has me really scratching my head.

Aftermath is available. Amazon erroneously lists it as SCE #29, but it's there.

Try searching by ASIN and you should find it: B002OK2OGW

That's an S&S problem, not an Amazon one, surprisingly. I bought the individual "Aftermath" story directly from S&S's site when it first came out; when I went to redownload it a few years ago, I got the omnibus instead.

New Frontier: Into the Void (#2 in the series) is $1.99 in the daily deals. As the other three of the first four are not very easy to find on their own in ebook form, it probably still makes sense to get the collection of the first four books in ebook format for $8.99 unless you have that very specific gap in your collection.

Thanks. Here’s another I just found (making my way backwards through what I don’t already have in Kindle).

The Captain’s Table series
#2 - Dujonian’s Hoard (TNG)
#3 - The Mist (DS9)
#4 - Fire Ship (Voyager)

No Kindle versions of these? (I know as I get farther back into the numbered series that there are some. Still, it’s odd to me that they did Kindles for some of the Captain’s Table novels but not for others.)
