Last year Dynamite Comics launched an ongoing adaptation of Kevin Smith's Six Million Dollar Man screenplay called The Bionic Man. Jaime Sommers made a cameo appearance in the first issue.
Now, with the Smith story about 1/2 way complete, Dynamite is launching a new Bionic Woman comic series in March.

(The above link features an image of the first-issue cover, but the other art is NOT from the Bionic Woman title, but rather reprints her cameo from Bionic Man #1.)
Presumably it will be set in the Smith continuity (certainly they're using the same logo, etc). Evidently they were able to get the rights to the title too (unlike SMDM). What's cool is the synopsis suggests the comic starts sometime after Jaime becomes bionic and becomes an agent, which is a change from Bionic Man which spent 6 months chronicling how Steve became bionic and only just started detailing his first mission. Presumably we'll learn how the new Jaime became bionic at a later date. The Smith story also drops the clanger (minor spoiler) that as far as Jaime is concerned, Steve is dead, so it'll be interesting to see if they pick up on this. Certainly it's inevitable we'll get some form of Bionic Man/Bionic Woman teamup.
Looking forward to seeing how they update the character (hopefully more successfully than the TV remake).
