DW Series 7 Returns!!...with "The Bells of St John"

"Meanwhile the series' stellar list of guest stars include: Celia Imrie; Richard E Grant; Warwick Davis, Jessica Raine; Dougray Scott and Tamzin Outhwaite, as well as for the first time on screen together, mother and daughter Dame Diana Rigg and Rachael Stirling."

Hmm...

(And before anyone says it, they don't mention anyone else who appeared in the first half of the series.)

So Moffat's even responsible for a press release written by someone else? No wonder he's always late with scripts if he has to proof read everything ;)

Someone obviously copied and pasted that sentence methinks...unless REG is actually making another appearance?

So why would it include all of the 7B guest stars but only one person from before that?

(Plus he was spotted in Cardiff long after shooting on the Xmas Special was done but it wasn't clear if he was back for pickups or not.)

Well if it was from an original document published before Christmas but after 7A aired.... At the end of the day it's probably just an error, these things slip through.

We do know Vastra, Jenny, and Strax are returning for another episode. Perhaps it is a follow-up to The Snowmen featuring Simeon somehow resurrected by the Great Intelligence?

Although, I agree, it's far more likely a mistake made by whoever wrote that.

Resurrection seems to be a current theme, Straxx, OSWin/Clara... So, why not?

To the left of the Motorcycle, down near the corner, there is a seemingly new alien, and you can see part of what looks like a Cardassian Spoon imprint, though on the right, just above and to he left of the Ice Warrior, there's a robot looking being that may actually have a spoon shaped head, and thee's a Cyberman just below that Ice Warrior

There's boatloads of stuff in the ice shards, I didn't so much notice it with the smaller sized pic, but, definitely can see them all when using as a Wallpaper and stretching it. Of course, now, I need to clean all the files off my desktop so I can really see them all :alienblush:

I was referring to Moffat's quote in the release.

"It's the 50th year of Doctor Who and look what's going on! We're up in the sky and under the sea! We're running round the rings of an alien world and then a haunted house. There's new Cybermen, new Ice Warriors and a never before attempted journey to the centre of the TARDIS. And in the finale, the Doctor's greatest secret will at last be revealed! If this wasn't already our most exciting year it would be anyway!"

Was so damn excited for a Victorian companion too :(.

I was pleased Moffat didn't take the dumbed down RTD route of basing the show in modern day London. Hope we don't see too much of it after this episode.

It's just the way you presented your statement. It gave us the impression you just discovered this fact no more than an hours ago.

And should I really attempt to copulate with Japanese rice wine? Sorry, just "channelling" Guy Gardner.

Sincerely,

Bill
