DVD price drop

You guys might already know about this, but for those that don't, the prices on the Enterprise dvd sets have come down drastically.

I just ordered the whole series off amazon.ca for under $200 including taxes and shipping. So for those who were waiting on a price drop like me, now's the time.

It's on back order at several retailers. I've noticed it's going in and out of stock on an almost daily basis so I'm assuming the word is already out. But just in case...

Hey I owned all the DVD sets within a week of their release; and once (and I do hope this happens witthin the next year or two) Paramount announces/releases the native HD versions of the episodes on Blu-Ray, I'll own them too.

But, if the price drop gets more people interested enough to pickup and actually watch the show; that's always a good thing for fandom.

I'm one of those patient fans who is finally going to buckle down and get the entire series. I've had .avi copies of the episodes to hold me off so far, but I can't go without the bloopers and extra features any longer. Especially for that price!

I got the first three seasons during the accidental Best Buy sale a while back, but I paid a higher price for Season 4.

I finally picked up season four a couple weeks ago when I noticed the price drop.

Deep Discount has them cheaper by the way: $186.10 for the complete series (free shipping, no tax).

Even cheaper at DVD Pacific ($170.79).

The drop doesn't seem to have extended to my neck of the woods, although they are alot cheaper than they were when they were released. I'm still working off old copies of the episodes so I would like to pick them up eventually. I'll have to keep an eye on the prices.

I bought seasons 1 & 2 yesterday from Deep Discount. $52.28 each, including shipping. That was the cheapest I could find from a major seller.

Hmmm, not going to tell my husband. He got me the whole set for Christmas and I know he paid a pretty penny. Oh well, it was worth it to me.

Every once in a while I start to think if I should pick up a couple of seasons of ENT or VOY, but due to the insane price tag the DVDs typically carry and the fact that I only like 7-8 episodes in a given season of those shows, I tend to shy away. Perhaps if the price drops a little lower....

For us Brits, I expect ENT will be re-released in slipcase form, any week now. TNG, DS9 and VOY can already be picked up for as little as £15.99 a season.

I just got all 4 seasons in about a week for under $200-amazing! I have been watching (and still watch) my VHS copies, but I want a more durable format to have these in for down the road.

I couldnt wait, I bought my copies the day or atleast the week they came out. I only have Enterprise and DS9 entire series on DVD. I recently been purching TNG on DVD, I have season 6 and 7. Bought then through Columbia house when they had set sales and with my Fun cash that i had. I may pruchase Voyager if the price comes down more, (a lot more).
