DVD Artwork changed and updated.

They have changed the artwork for the DVD release. I like this better than the blurry image.

I'd rather have had Kirk and Spock, or Spock alone, on the cover.

Agreed. This is some of the dullest DVD artwork I've ever seen. Couldn't they have been a *bit* more imaginative?

They just updated their article and bumped it to the top.

I like either one of those, so it doesn't matter to me which one they use. Though I admit I like the idea of having Kirk on the cover! I think they should've added the whole cast in the picture for the release. But it doen't matter to me what they use as the cover, I'll still buy it!

I like the original poster art better. The 'new' art looks more like a fanboy creation, and not a very good one either. Perhaps they should let our own Photoshoppers and Blue Nacelles people take a turn at it.

I agree.

The first one wasn't imaginative but it is the movies symbol and was clean(not great but simple). The transparent text does look immature and childish. It looks like something I would try once and immediately undo in fireworks.

Eh, I'm just gonna end up throwing the box away. I keep my movies in a leather CD case. But that still doesn't make the art any less crappy.

They should really just have contests for this stuff. I could make something better with photoshop.
