Better make sure I buy a first edition
It appears that most copies on eBay are the first printing (I believe there are more copies of the first printing in circulation than of all subsequent printings combined.)
You can tell a first printing quite easily: it has the title in raised, gold-foil-embossed letters on the front cover.
Don't get ripped off; its quite easy to find nice copies in the $10-$20 range. Some dealers are asking crazy money ($80-$100 or even more). Don't pay it!
Check out eBay.com (the USA version of the site) and look for someone willing to ship internationally.
Anyway, in the UK you’re probably looking at a Titan copy, and all of those are the edited version.
