DS9 storyarch

What I like most with DS9 compared with other trek-shows is the strong storyarch that runs particulary during later seasons. Feeling in the mood to revisit the show, I was wondering, does anyone know of a page that displays the essential episodes following the main Dominion conflict story?

I found such a page when watching B5 for a second time, and it was extremely gratifying to follow its story (as well as some episodes that developed the characters).

I'd be grateful for any help.

I don't know of such a page, however, here is a list that boils down the Dominion War to its essentials:

Season 2:

"The Jem'Hadar"

Season 3:

"The Search"
"Improbable Cause"
"The Die is Cast"
"The Adversary"

Season 4:

"Homefront"
"Paradise Lost"
"Broken Link"

Season 5:

"Apocalypse Rising"
"The Ship"
"In Purgatory's Shadow"
"By Inferno's Light"
"Call to Arms" (the actual war begins here)

Season 6:

"A Time to Stand"
"Rocks and Shoals"
"Sons and Daughters"
"Behind the Lines"
"Favor the Bold"
"Sacrifice of Angels"
"Inquisition"
"In the Pale Moonlight"
"Tears of the Prophets"

Season 7:

"Image in the Sand"
"Shadows and Symbols"
"Treachery, Faith, and the Great River"
"The Siege of AR-558"
"Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges" through "What You Leave Behind"

Others may want to add or subtract from this list. Or point to a better one. But I think those episodes sum up the Dominion story pretty well.

Wikipedia has an entire entry on the Dominion War with key episodes during the arc if that helps. But yeah the episodes posted above is pretty concrete.

I don't think "Inquisition" was an integral episode for the arc, though it definitely was a good episode. Also, in "Sons and Daughters" there's little that pertains to the actual war arc itself, so you could fast-forward thru all of the Worf-Alexander stuff actually.
"Waltz", however, sets up the finale and provides some needed closure to the epic events of "Sacrifice of Angels", and is a fantastic episode too, just as a side.
Otherwise, a good list, which I'd wish I'd had before rewatching the arc myself the past couple of days :)

I'd add a couple episodes that deliver some key information about Dukat's motivation, which becomes crucial later on:

S4: Indiscretion & Return to Grace (which also require some understanding of the Klingon situation...gah, this show is way too complicated, just watch it all ;))

S5's Ties of Blood & Water have some key scenes with Dukat and Weyoun, even though strictly speaking they aren't part of the plot arc, they give some interesting insights into their personalities and are too much fun to miss.

I had "Inquisition" in there because it did set up Section 31, which ended up having a somewhat pivotal role in the war arc. I know it doesn't involve the war per se, but it seems like essential (or at least important) background.

I agree about "Sons and Daughters," sido, I just didn't want to truncate that little arc. Good point on "Waltz". Consider it added. ;)

I left out the episodes that were just Dukat-heavy unless they had a lot to do with the war. Love a good Dukat show, but he was involved in damn near every plot thread! To delve into "Indiscretion" and "...Grace", as Temis said, would involve covering the whole Klingon arc.

I left out "To the Death," as it really had nothing to do with the eventual war, and really had no lasting consequences or impact of any kind. It is a good episode, but disconnected from the arc itself.
