DS9 Specification

Hi

I was wondering if anyone has any exact specifications of DS9, because i am interested in re creating the station on Auto Cad Revit, just for fun (i know it is sad lol) so basically i want exact length, width etc and also the layout.

Nobody knows the exact size of the station as portrayed, not even the people who designed the shooting model, or shot it, or directed the shots. Estimates vary from a vague original design intent of about 900 meters to up to two klicks of diameter. Certainly it would be impossible to decide upon a figure that agreed both with window sizes (the ones on the Promenade are a nice telltale) and the size relative to docked starships (the worst offenders are the big Galaxy and Nebula ones, but the Defiant and the runabouts also produce their share of problems).

The exact specs of the shooting model should be available somewhere, though.

But in my dvd collection in specials it shows them building to scale a model of DS9 and they show very complex drawings of it. so i thought someone on the forums might know some specs and measurements as they don't state on dvd.

I think he's talking about the specs of the actual station. Surely the Starfleet Corps of Engineers has that on file somewhere?
