Game DS9 Episode Pitch Game

When Benjamin is organizing a baseball tournament in the holosuite, Jake finds out he will be spending the game on the Bench. But instead of sulking, he uses his time to create a new story about being the son of a famous baseball player in the twentieth century.

"The Planet Fall": Defiant is sent to investigate the crash site of a Federation merchant ship in a remote Bajoran lake after distress calls suggest it has been shot down by a defensive weapon that was stolen from a dismantlement and repurposing center a month ago. There, they find the surviving crew being held prisoner by a resistance family that doesn't know their fight is over. Meanwhile, the kids on the station's school get pen pals from Bajor, and Nog lies to his to impress her.

Crimes of Passion

When a ship from the Gamma Quadrant comes through the wormhole, two aliens arrive at the station. When people begin to disappear from the station, it is revealed that one of the aliens is a shape-shifter (like Star Trek VI) and the other has killed to protect her.

“One of Five”: After learning that one out of every five children treated at the hospital where he received genetic enhancement at that time later suffered a nervous condition that destroyed their fine motor control, Julian Bashir is placed on medical leave while he undergoes a series of tests to determine if he has it. He keeps this a secret from most of his crewmates, and befriends a fellow patient he knew back then while they wait for the news. The strain of not knowing if he'll lose his career and his ability to function is a heavy burden. The episode alternates between flashbacks to his hospital stay as a child, and his present day testing by a doctor who regards him more as a specimen than a patient. Meanwhile, Miles thinks Bashir's replacement has a crush on him and tries to avoid her by making excuses not to come in for a physical.

Scrutiny

After the tide of the war begins to turn against the Dominion, Quark begins to hear rumours and wild theories about how the Romulans were brought into the war. Including one wild rumour that Starfleet had an Romulan Ambassador killed.

Sisko consults Garek, under the pretense of getting a new suit.
Garek assures him that if such a thing did happen, any evidence of such a crime would have been destroyed long ago. And unfortunately, the conspirators in such a crime would go unpunished.

Dax competes in a major Tongo competition, that brings in Ferengi from around the Alpha, Beta, and Delta quadrant.

“Matrix 0-0-1”: After travelling to Earth to attend an author conference hosted by Starfleet Academy, Jake and Nog clash with a novelist whose alternate history book depicts her people conquering Earth and how much better off (in her opinion) they would be. Meanwhile, Kira teaches Sisko some Bajoran martial arts skills, which causes emotional flashbacks of her own teacher's death.

When Sisko, O’Brien, and Julian are visiting a world in the Gamma Quadrant, the get ambushed by an unknown warrior species. The only way to fight them off is to take shelter inside a small temple.

“The Other Side”: Quark recalls how he decided to open the bar, by flipping a coin - heads, he starts Quark's; tails, he sails off on a pirate vessel. When a crazed customer comes in and attacks him, rendering him unconscious, he has a vision of how his life would have been different if the coin had landed on the other side. His ship makes a stop at DS9, where he finds that what would have been his bar is something very different. He is accompanied by a Ferengi "guardian angel" who can't be seen by anyone but him.

Strange things is happening. Someone is able to enter restricted areas, or access files...even the ones Miles haven't broken into. After Quark complains about someone using one of the holosuites covertly, Odo investigates and finds an elderly Bajoran who had recently come board after being saved from a Cardassian prision. He was one of the first Bajorans to work on the station when it was first built. He managed to hide programs and access codes without the Cardassians realizing it.

Jake has a very vivid dream where he is a grown-up and is trying to re-create one of his grandfathers secret recipes.

Quark and Garek team up to investigate someone who Garek thinks may be a member of the Obsidian Order.

“The Last of their Kind”: A species of bird that is going extinct on Bajor has laid eggs in a crawlspace of the infirmary on DS9. Bashir develops a friendship with the lovely Bajoran scientist who is studying them in their nest. The bird had been cooked as a Cardassian delicacy during the occupation. Subsequently, it makes DS9 the target of black marketeers hoping to make a killing by catching and selling this rare bird.

A charismatic Bajoran monk, Vedek Solan, arrives on Deep Space Nine. Unlike the typical contemplative clergy, Solan is a firebrand populist who claims to have received a new prophecy from the Celestial Temple—one that explicitly names Benjamin Sisko not just as the Emissary, but as the Living God of Bajor who must lead a "holy cleansing" of the Alpha Quadrant.

"Days Are Numbers": A new calculation by a mathematician suggests that a holy day in Bajoran history was misidentified previously, meaning a woman may have been misidentified as a saint, and upheaval ensues. Meanwhile, a very old alien (not Morn) celebrating a milestone birthday is moping around Quark's bar about being old and lonely until Jake and Nog convince him to have a second childhood. Chaos ensues.
