“Pterosaur”

A very large bird-like space creature begins to use DS9 as a nest, and Sisko must find a way to excise the creature without harming it.

Bajorans hear of this creature and reveal a very mysterious prophecy. Many Bajorans flood the station to get a look at this creature, they turn to the Emissary to try to protect it from the Cardassians who are visiting the station.

“Lost in Subspace”

The O’Briens, Kira and Bashir beam aboard a derelict DY-100 phasing in and out of subspace. Finding it abandoned, they find that it was swept off course 250 years ago from it’s original destination – what eventually became known as Wrigley’s Pleasure Planet. However the DY-100’s computer system won’t let them tow the ship back to DS9, believing them to be the original crew.

Meanwhile, inspired by an article Jake was writing about the Captain Proton series, Sisko devises a way to bring his crew back before the DY-100 is lost forever. Believing he can fool the DY-100’s computer, Sisko wants to trade his crew for characters from a Captain Proton holosuite program, who’s personalities and appearances oddly matched a few of the original DY-100’s crew complement.
