DS9 and/or Bashir followup...

So, Reddit failed me, downvoted without cause, and no reply given...

I Really want to continue with DS9, or simply Dr. Bashir, in book form. I honestly have no idea where to start, and I know that there are almost as many trek novels out there as there are fans...

Does anyone have any hints on where I should begin, where I should start my Trek Book adventures?

I'd say theres some good Bashir stuff in the earlier Relaunch stuff. And there's amazing DS9 stuff in general. I'd read them all if I were you.

From (fallible) memory I'd say you could read Lives of Dax and A Stitch In Time anytime and start with N Vector, but it's your call.

I'd fully back Sci's list, it can be worth reading other novels that are set at the same time as then all of Trek becomes one big story.

If you're curious about how it all fits together, my signature contains a giant flowchart that pieces it all together. Don't feel like you have to read anything in particular, though - that list Sci posted is going to be brilliant reading start to finish even if you don't add anything else to it.

Be aware also that a lot of those books are collected in Twist Of Faith and These Haunted Seas, two bigger omnibus editions.

Oh, and you should also probably know that there's a huge time-jump before Destiny, where the DS9 narrative skips several years. There was some editorial changeover and it's not the smoothest of transitions. However: all the stories before are fantastic, and all the stories after are fantastic, and it's absolutely worth the journey. It'll just be better if you know to expect it going in.

Don't worry, the Section 31 plotline is continued in Plagues of Night and Raise the Dawn, which essentially build on the plots of all previous books in the series.

DS9 continues to be my absolute favorite major ongoing Trek Series in Literary Form.

Vanguard supplanted Klingon Empire (when it died prematurely) as well as Corps of Engineers (when it was halted, hopefully one day to be resumed) as my favorite Literature Only series.

Both featuring Space stations... Hmm.

Did they mention him in A Singular Destiny? I know the IKS Gorkon scenes gave a brief update on some of the characters from the series, but I can't remember if he was mentioned.
