I just got word that my younger brother has been involved in a car accident. Apparently he's ok, a few cuts and bruises and a possible concussion aside, and is under observation at the hospital.

In any case, having gone out and hugged my dog, I just wanted to share the following:

I'm sorry to hear about your brother. I'm glad he's alive to tell the story. Others aren't so lucky. (hugs)

Dear General Public:

Stay overnight and sleep it off, pick a designated driver, share a cab or limo, take the bus, just please...dear god above, DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE.

PLEASE PLEASE volunteer with "Operation: Red Nose" in your area. The life you're saving, could be your own.

And one more thing...., be aware of what's going on right in front of you, especially in such situations as driving around in mall parking lots. Mall employees (such as myself,) taking out the garbage hate getting clipped by distracted, day-dreaming drivers looking everywhere except right in front of them.

I hate the fact people text and drive too.
