Dragon Convention Atlanta, Georgia

Recently, I have checked on the Dragon Con that is held every year on Labor Day Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. So far, I haven't seen any guests from STAR TREK, Does anybody know why? Please advise.

I have been to two Dragon Con Conventions in Atlanta and they always had somebody from STAR TREK, in fact, I met DeForrest Kelly and James Doohan at the first convention that I was able to attend. I was able to see William Shatner at 2011 Con, but the last time I checked, I didn't see any guests from any of the TREK series or movies? Again, I ask WHY???

The big name guests usually start appearing on the list during summer, some only get signed up shortly before the convention. Star Trek has one of the bigger programming tracks and the last I heard Garrett Wang was still in charge of it and he's been able to get some great guests.

Conventions just aren't the same as they were in the 1980's-1990s.
Everything feels different--if bigger.
