Dr. Selar was an interesting character

Yeah, Selar was awesome, in that she was in all of one episode and from there only heard from again in the from of annoucments over the comm. :wtf:

Another vote for Selar, being a sexy Vulcan, being an interesting character and a far better choice for S2 medical chief.

Is anyone a fan of Dr. Pulaski? I'm sure she got the job because she was tight with Big Gene.

Could have been worse. Think Doogie Houser in space.

I'd have been happy to see Selar as a recurring guest. She was intended to come back originally, although I heard a rumour that it was as a possible love interest for Worf - what a terrible idea!
They did make her Worf's love interest -- as a Klingon. I think Selar would probably have returned had they not cast Plackson in a different role.

I am no fan of Pulaski so that would have been just fine.
Pulaski's great-grandmother, however, was gorgeous.

Yep, Muldaur was quite lovely in her day. She was very well-cast as Miranda Jones, the object of crazy-making desire in "Is There in Truth..."
