Dr. Rush's notebook, can someone identify?

The only thing I like about the show so far is the cool notebook Dr. Rush is constantly flipping through. Does anyone know how to find one?

It looks a bit like a note taker wallet, but it has metal binder clips. It is possible a tri fold. If someone can help me pinpoint the type, I can quit watching the show.

In that case, I know exactly what they are and where they can be found but because you will stop watching after I tell you, I won't. Perhaps I'll tell you after the series has ended and you have seen them all.

Now, because of that snarky little comment you'll have to wait. To think, you could be ordering it right now. Perhaps next time you need info you won't slam a show in it's own forum. :p

TJ....how about I promise to watch the rest of the season?

not a Moleskine....something else. Must have!

"It's own forum" is the most appropriate place to express any opinion - positive or virulently negative - of a show. This has certainly always been the case around here with the various Trek shows (despite heavy-handed and sometimes defensive modding in the DS9 forum, the Enterprise forum was a verbal war zone while that series lived) and no reason it shouldn't be the same for Stargate.

Sorry dude, I was just poking a little fun at ya. I have no idea what it is or where to get it. Sorry if my humor didn't translate. I sincerely hope you succeed in finding it as it does look cool.

Dennis, lighten up, I wasn't being serious at all as the winking smiley should suggest. The OP is intitled to his opinion either way and yes, this would be the forum to do it. There, you have saved the day, feel better?

It looks like it's two components:

-a standard (well-used) refillable business notebook cover

and

-a standard notebook

You could probably buy some version of both components at any office supply store.

Wonder what he is gonna do when he fills up the notebook? Although everytime he pulls it I expect to see a blue dog come out putting paw prints on important plot devices for Rush to find.

Good place to post those pics would be a EDC form, likw http://edcforums.com/. I've had something simlar that I picked up at Wal-Mart a long time back, but I'm not sure they carry them anymore; and I'd like to have another one, seeing as mine met its doom a while back.

[standard response regarding fact that they're not running out a particular item]A large supply just happened to be in the boxes that they randomly brought through the gate.[/standard response regarding the fact that they're not running out of a particular item]

I had a very similar notebook before the palm came out. It was called Day planner, you get the leather booklet, and the refills for each month.

On another note, what is he writing with? Is that a big marker (seems impractical) or a funky pen?
I think that shot comes from when they were on Icarus base, when they were still trying to figure out the 9th chevron. It's a dry-erase marker for the white board he's working on.

Good eye. Yes, they're still on Icarus base in that scene, and he is in fact working on a white board.
