Star Trek is full of species who appeared on one series but who never appeared in the others. Pretty sure we never saw a Horta or an Excalbian or a Medusan on any of the latter-day Trek series. And often did Deltans or Betazoids appear on DS9 or VOYAGER?

It's a big universe.

But there was a Betazoid on Voyager: Crewman Suder (Brad Dourif) was betazoid, wasn't he?

Maybe there were some on Enterprise too but I guess they haven't said their names.

Pretty sure we never saw a Horta ... on any of the latter-day Trek series.

I'd love to see a Horta with our current day technology. Its a shame the timeline for Discovery wouldn't allow for that.
