Doug Jones, Lt. Saru

I fear some kind of Neelix character, I hope they will write something good for him.

And why haven't we seen his species in later Treks?!?!?! :D

Star Trek is full of species who appeared on one series but who never appeared in the others. Pretty sure we never saw a Horta or an Excalbian or a Medusan on any of the latter-day Trek series. And often did Deltans or Betazoids appear on DS9 or VOYAGER?

It's a big universe.

Thanks. :)
But I was just quoting the post above. Unfortunately it's on page 2, so one doesn't read my post right next to this one:

I can hear the "why haven't we seen his species in later Treks?!?!?!:scream:" fanrage already...

But there was a Betazoid on Voyager: Crewman Suder (Brad Dourif) was betazoid, wasn't he? ;)

How come there was a blonde lesbian ADA all of sudden on Law & Order? Where were they before? And why haven't we seen any since?????

And Lieutenant Stadi. Granted, she died after like five minutes, but I am fairly sure she was a Betazoid.

Oh yes, I remember her. Good point. :D Wasn't she also to be seen on DS9, at least shortly. At DS9 there was Mrs. Troi of course.

Maybe there were some on Enterprise too but I guess they haven't said their names.

I'm glad he's playing an alien. Jones is a little long in the tooth to be a Lieutenant.

Doug Jones has betrayed all Star Trek fans!

He has appeared in a Star Wars fan film

Let him become Gorn. As we don't have enough of Gorn character in Star Trek TV series. Are they still around? Specially in TNG era?
