you know what i mean...what TREK alien race, of all the star trek races, gets the most 'roll of the eyes' when the regular public hears us talking about them? Vulcan? Borg? Klingons??? or some other race???

This, also because people also dress up as them for the hell of it outside of conventions, and they're hard to miss when they do so.

I would go with Klingons too because they seem to be the most well known ones outside Trek fans and they are the most memorable because of their dramatic appearence.

Klingons get respect in my neighborhood. During the height of TNG, my cousin and his young son joined the Klingon Armada and made personal appearances at charitable events. They had gorgeous costumes and wore full makeup.

They were quite a hit too...especially during the local blood drives.
