Well, guys...I got the job at Cryptic Studios! I'll be starting in late March. In the meantime, I've got to do this whole moving across the country thing. A new chapter awaits!

Thought I'd get back to work on Kirk's cabin aboard the Refit. Finally got around to those shelving units.

It's good! Much different than working on whatever I want without regards to time or memory budgets though. I love the company and my coworkers, and working every day to contribute to the Star Trek franchise is a dream come true.

It's taken a while, but I'm finally getting the groove of it. And I'm not so mentally exhausted at the end of the day as I was when I first started, so now I can comfortably slip back in to working on personal projects when I get home.

Also, just saw the pics on my home monitor and realised that the chairs have seams on the upholstery - so cool.

I always figured they went back further into the bulkhead, since it looks like there's considerable space between that wall and the corridor outside.

Thats looks about 99% Screen Accurate to me Someday I'll have to save $ and get a uniform from them as in RL I kinda sorta look like a younger Capt. Batesman aka Fraiser in Starfleet uniform ^_^
